I have followed this series on DVD and thanks to an online forum (I should clarify that I bought every season to come out on DVD ¬ ¬).
For a girl like me, this series is excellent! Classic rock contains an impressive '67 Impala, mystery, horror, supernatural beings and two pieces of leather
good actors playing the brothers Winchester, dedicated to hunting and supernatural creatures above.
The plot is very interesting, balancing well the drama, mystery and comedy. In my opinion, the fourth season was a bit tired and redundant, but the fifth season has been like a rebirth!
If you like horror and classic rockmusician (wave AC / DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, et al) probably will like this series as much as me.

By the way ... inthe third season I have seen one of the most intelligent and respectful explanations I've seen for a government to make decisions as if the navel of the world. In the U.S. productions are always the Americans who saved the world and if a meteorite falls on Earth or are invaded by aliens, any of those things will bring down the statue of Liberty, and the anime we constantly see how in Tokyo played the fate of Earth and its stunning collapse subway lines, seize on the Tokyo Tower and end at the sea of Odaiba.
